Frequently Asked Questions

We get a lot of questions about our services, so we have gathered the most common ones here. If yours is not answered below, do not hesitate to get in touch.

A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that chemically bonds to your paint, forming a hard, glass-like layer. It protects against UV, chemical stains and road grime, makes washing easier, and adds noticeable depth and gloss. Unlike wax, it does not simply sit on the surface and wash away.

It depends on the product and how the car is cared for. Entry-level coatings such as Gyeon Q² Cancoat typically last around a year, while the flagship Mohs and Infinite can last several years with correct maintenance. Every coating we apply is backed by our GrandLab e-Warranty.

PPF is a clear, self-healing urethane film applied over your paint. It absorbs the impact of stone chips, light scratches and road debris, keeping the panel underneath in factory condition. It is available in gloss and matte and is effectively invisible once fitted.

They do different jobs. Coating protects against chemical damage, UV and staining, and makes the car easier to clean. PPF protects against physical impact such as stone chips. Many customers do both — PPF on high-impact areas like the front end, coating over the whole car.

No. Our films are precision-cut to your specific vehicle and applied by hand without removing body panels, mirrors or lights.

A signature wash is a few hours. Full paint correction and coating usually needs two to three days, since decontamination and correction must be done properly before any coating is applied. Full-body PPF can take longer. We confirm timing when you book.

Modern film does not. Older generations of film yellowed under UV, but the ONE+ film we use is UV-stable and designed to stay clear for the life of the warranty.

Yes, and we often recommend it. Coating over film adds chemical resistance and gloss, and makes the film itself easier to clean and maintain.

New cars often leave the factory or transport with light swirls, and dealer preparation can add more. Any defect sealed under a coating stays there, so we correct the paint first to make sure what gets locked in is a flawless finish.

Use the two-bucket method with a pH-neutral shampoo, and avoid automatic brush washes. Rinse off bird droppings and fuel spills promptly. We will walk you through aftercare when you collect the car.

Yes. We use AX Film and NAKA films across gloss, satin and matte finishes. A wrap also protects the original paint underneath, which helps preserve resale value.

Coatings benefit from a periodic maintenance wash and inspection, which is included in our coating packages. We will contact you when yours is due.
