Terms of Service

These terms apply to services provided by GrandLab Detailing, a trading name of GrandPride Luxury Travel Sdn Bhd (Company No. 1297143-K), of 5, Jalan 13/2, Seksyen 13, 46200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia ("GrandLab", "we", "us"). By booking or accepting a service from us, you agree to them.

Quotations and bookings

• Quotations are based on the vehicle's condition as described to us. If the condition on arrival differs materially, we will inform you and agree any change in price or time before proceeding.
• A booking is confirmed once we have agreed a date and, where applicable, received a deposit.
• Estimated completion times are given in good faith. Weather, curing requirements and unforeseen condition issues may extend them.

Your vehicle

• Please remove personal belongings before leaving your vehicle with us. We are not responsible for items left inside.
• We record the condition of every vehicle on arrival. Please raise any disagreement with that record before work begins.
• Vehicles left with us after completion are held at the owner's risk. We may charge storage for vehicles not collected within a reasonable period after we notify you that work is finished.

What we can and cannot achieve

Paint correction, coating, film and wrapping improve a vehicle's condition but cannot undo every defect. Deep scratches through the clear coat, previous poor repairs, weak or failing paint, and damage to trim may not be fully correctable, and in some cases cannot be worked on safely at all. Where we identify such a limitation, we will tell you before work begins and confirm what outcome is realistic.

Payment

• Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit.
• We accept the payment methods displayed at our premises and in our app.

Packages and prepaid balances

• Packages are tied to the vehicle and customer recorded at purchase and are not transferable unless we agree in writing.
• Any expiry period will be stated at the time of purchase.
• Prepaid balances and package sessions are not exchangeable for cash.

Rewards, points and vouchers

• Reward points hold no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred between accounts.
• Vouchers are valid for the period and purpose stated on them.
• We may vary the rewards programme, including how points are earned and redeemed, on reasonable notice.
• We may suspend or cancel an account and any associated balance where we reasonably believe the programme is being abused.

Warranty

Where a service carries a warranty, its scope and duration are set out in the warranty document issued to you. Warranties generally require that the vehicle is maintained as instructed and serviced with us at the stated intervals. Damage from accidents, misuse, harsh chemicals, automated brushes or third-party work on the treated surfaces is not covered. Manufacturer-backed warranties are subject to the terms of the manufacturer concerned.

Cancellation

Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to cancel or move a booking. Deposits may be retained where a cancellation is made at short notice and we are unable to fill the slot.

Liability

We carry out our work with reasonable skill and care. Our liability for any claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for that service, except where the law does not permit such a limit. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of use of the vehicle. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of our work, please tell us as soon as possible and give us the opportunity to inspect the vehicle. Most issues are resolved quickly when raised early.

Personal data

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
